MURRAY, KY (KFVS) - The American Veterans Traveling Tribute will be at the American Legion Post #73 in Murray June 15-19.

The Wall was established by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, Inc.

Sign dedication in Murray for Tim Masthay

MURRAY, KY (KFVS) - The city of Murray will hold a sign dedication for local-born Tim Masthay on Friday, June 17.

Masthay is a Superbowl Champion of the Greenbay Packers and Murray, Ky. is his hometown.

The dedication will be at 4 p.m. at 641 South by Dwain Taylor and then on the north side of Murray by Wal-Mart.

According to the city, Murray Transit Authority will provide a bus service from Dwain Taylor to Wal-Mart and then back to your vehicles.

Tips on healthy grilling from MCCH

MURRAY, KY (KFVS) - The Murray Calloway County Hospital will host a program called "Having a Healthy Cookout" on Tuesday, June 14.

Having a Healthy Cookout: Enjoying a Summer Ritual the Healthy Way will be a discussion with Registered Dietitian Heather Richmond about how you can make a summer ritual into a healthy tradition.

The discussion will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Center for Health and Wellness Classroom.

It will include great tips and healthy grilling food choices and participants can come prepared to ask questions about how to improve your favorite grilling foods.

MURRAY, KY (KFVS) - Monthly meetings for Murray councils are available.

The councils include:

Planning Commission - June 21 at 5 p.m.
Board of Zoning Adjustments - June 22 at 4:30 p.m.
City Council - June 23 at 6:30 p.m.

Meetings are in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 104 North Fifth Street.

Free pulmonary, blood pressure screenings at Murray convenience store

MURRAY, KY (KFVS) - The Murray Calloway County Hospital Health Express will be at the Murray Save-A-Lot on Friday, June 10.

The free pulmonary function screenings, blood pressure and pulse checks are offered to find disease in its earliest stages when there are often no symptoms. The screenings will be from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the store.

The pulmonary function screening evaluates how well your lungs work and determines how much air your lungs can hold, along with how quickly the air can move in and out of your lungs.
