City of Murray accepting sealed bids on surplus item | Community Spirit
MURRAY, KY (KFVS) - The City of Murray Fire Department announced they are accepting sealed bids on a 1992 Emergency One Cyclone H205 (Vin #1067) that has been declared surplus by the Murray City Council.
They say the surplus property will be sold "as is." Specifications and photos are available at the City of Murray Fire Department Administration Office located at 207 South 5th St., Murray, Ky 42071 or on the City of Murray's website at www.murrayky.gov.
Sealed bids must be clearly marked “Bid: 1992 E-One Cyclone #1067” on the outside of the envelope and delivered to the City of Murray Fire Department Administration Office, by 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 11 where they will be opened and read aloud. Late proposals will not be considered.
The City of Murray said they may reject any, any part of, or all bids to fulfill the City of Murray’s requirements, waive informalities and technicalities, negotiate directly with any party submitting a bid, or accept that bid which the City of Murray deems to be in its best interest, whether or not it is the highest dollar proposal. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above schedule time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof.
Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No bidder may withdraw a bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Should there be reason why the bid cannot be awarded within the specified period; the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the City of Murray and bidders.
