Humane Society to host "The 3rd Annual Fashion 4 Paws"

CALLOWAY COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - The Humane Society of Calloway County will host The 3rd Annual Fashion 4 Paws Event on Saturday, Jan. 28 in the Curris Center Ballroom on the Murray State campus from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The fashion show is a formal wear consignment sale.

”This sale is a great way for area ladies of all ages to find amazing dresses at fantastic prices,” said Event Coordinator Lindsey Harlan. “This year’s event committee has worked incredibly hard to ensure this is an event unlike any other. We really took the time to see what area ladies were looking for when they were preparing for any type of formal occasion. We have some amazing additions to this year’s event from incredible vendors to a live band. Whether you are preparing for prom or a wedding, we have something for everyone.”

The event will include live music, free alteration consultations, jewelery, runway photography and free make-up consultations. Organizers say there will also be a silent auction.

To consign a dress, bring your clean, gently used formal wear to the Humane Society office in the Weaks Community Center on January 23–25, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.. Consigners will receive 70 percent of the profit from each dress sold.

Pick-up and payment information will be given at drop-off. Additional clothing drop-off is available by appointment on Jan. 23-27, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
