Rotary Club to deliver relief items to OK tornado victims

MURRAY, KY (KFVS) - The Murray Rotary Club has paired up with the Fulton, Mayfield and Paducah clubs to secure and deliver relief items to the victims of Monday’s devastating tornado in Moore, Oklahoma.

Organizers say “Operation Rotary Relief” will be in full swing in Murray on Wednesday and Thursday, collecting basic relief items to fill a full-size school bus with supplies to hit the road west on Friday at 4 a.m.

Donations can be dropped off at Pagliai’s Restaurant, 970 Chestnut Street, in Murray between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.  Look for the familiar Rotary wheel in the restaurant parking lot.

MURRAY, KY (KFVS) - Summer in the Park, playhouse in the Park Deck, will be Monday through Friday from May 28 through July 19.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. It is recommended that your arrive by 11:30 a.m. From 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. will be educational programs. No program or meal July 4 and 5.

This event is for children through age 18. Children under nine must be accompanied by an adult. Weekly events will include:

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - It's springtime and Easter is just around the corner!

We want to see you family pictures with the Easter Bunny.

You can e-mail pictures to cNews@kfvs12.com or click here to upload them. Don't forget to include your name, the name of the child and where you're from. Please get prior approval from the parents or guardians if submitting a picture of a child or children that is not your own.

Pictures will be used in a slideshow online and possibly on-air.

'Kentucky Crafted: The Market' to be held in early March

'Kentucky Crafted: The Market' to be held in early March

FRANKFORT, KY (KFVS) - More than 30 state's musicians and musical acts will play on the Kentucky Stage on March 2 and 3 at the Lexington Convention Center for 'Kentucky Crafted: The Market.'

The music is just one aspect of of the event along with thousands of handcrafted items created by Commonwealth artists. 

The Kentucky Stage will feature two full days of musical performances by performers from around the state. 

Saturday, March 2 will feature Mitch Barrett, Hog Operation, Appalatin among others.

LeMay & Reese, Heath & Molly and No Tools Loaned are on the list of several performers lined up for Sunday, March 3.

Concerts will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

All concerts are included with the price of admission to The Market.

Advance tickets are on-sale until Feb. 27. One day tickets are $8 online, $10 at the door. Two-day tickets are $12 online and $15 at the door.

Circus to return to Murray with 'Fully Charged, Gold Edition'

MURRAY, KY (KFVS) - Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey is coming back to Murray with their new production, "Fully Charged, Gold Edition."

Before the show, Ambassadors of Laughter will visit elementary schools, libraries and daycares Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2 with free education programs such as Reading with Ringling, CircusFit Interactive or Science of the Circus.
