Symphony to host "Made in America" concert

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - The Paducah Symphony will host its second annual "Made in America" concert on Saturday, January 28th.

The concert starts at 4:00 p.m. At Harrison Street Baptist Church. The church is located at 1126 Harrison St. in Paducah.

The concert will feature African American Spirituals, art music, and hymns. The symphony will play several selections including "Steal Away" and "Ezekiel Saw the Wheel."

The Paducah Symphony Adult, Youth, and Children's Choruses will be featured along with the Murray State Concert Choir.

Admission to the concert is $10 for adults and free for students. A nursery will be provided by Harrison Street Baptist.

Consigners needed to bring items for large sale

(KFVS) - Organizers are asking consigners to register and bring items for a large sale Jan. 4-11 at West Park Mall in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Kidsgalore & More will be a new consignment sale at the old Steve and Barry's store in the mall.

They are currently registering consigners to bring items for the event. All items are being accepted for consignment as long as they are in "like new" condition.

The event is also in need of volunteers and organizations to donate as well. Organizers say everyone is welcome and help is appreciated for this big event.

Taco's lap might be too small, but we want to see pictures of your kids or pets sitting on Santa's lap. The pictures will be featured online and maybe on-air.
