MURRAY, KY (KFVS) - Police have charged a Murray man injured Friday, September 28 when he wrecked his car on KY 893.
Kentucky State Police troopers responded to KY 893 around 11:14 p.m. They say they found Joshua Morris, 31, standing outside his 2010 Toyota Camry. Troopers say witnesses at the scene told them they found Morris unconscious inside the car initially.
According to KSP, Morris was driving north on KY 893 when he crossed into the oncoming lane and left the road, colliding with a culvert. They say the car went airborne upon impact and came to a final rest in a ditch.
Morris was taken to the hospital for his injuries. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence. Troopers say he was wearing a seatbelt.
